George F. Boyer Historical Museum and Marbles Hall of Fame

The George F. Boyer Historical Museum is managed by The Wildwood Historical Society, a non-profit, tax exempt, not-for-profit corporation, founded in 1963. The museum has vintage photos, artifacts and memorabilia, depicting the various ages of Wildwood, from it's merger with Holly Beach City, to the present.

U.S. Naval Air Station Wildwood

Naval Air Station Wildwood Foundation is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to restore Hangar #1 at the Cape May County Airport, Lower Township, New Jersey, into an aircraft museum honoring the 41 Naval airmen who perished while training there during World War II. Hangar # 1 was listed onto the National Register of Historic Places September, 1997.

Cape May County Park and Zoo

Perhaps the best-kept secret of New Jersey is the Cape May County Zoo, just a short drive from the states finest beaches. Located on 80 acres, the Zoo is a haven for about 200 species of wildlife. There you'll see a new reptile house, the new World of Birds aviary, and an African Savanna, residence of lions, giraffes and other African animals. You can also enjoy a treat at the cafe or visit the souvenir shop while you are there.

Cape May Bird Observatory

Founded in 1975 by the New Jersey Audubon Society*, the Cape May Bird Observatory (CMBO) is a leader in research, environmental education, bird conservation, and recreational birding activities.

Institute for Coastal Education

The Institute of Coastal Education (ICE) is a hub of activity with twelve large aquariums housing locally-collected species of fish including blennies, seahorses, and groupers, as well as interesting invertebrates like horseshoe crabs, octopus, and even coral that grows in New Jersey. There are also hands-on activities for ocean enthusiasts young and old.

Leamings Run Botanical Gardens

Covering over 30 acres of beautiful flowers, ferns, lawns and ponds, Leaming's Run in Cape May County stands as the largest annual garden in the United States. Divided into 25 individually designed and expertly crafted gardens, each represents a different theme with something of interest for just about everybody.
